Bereshit2

Genesis · Chapter 2

Thus the shamayim and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
And on the seventh day Elohim ended his work which he had made; and he ceased on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
And Elohim blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he completed all his work from all his work which Elohim created and made.
These are the generations of the shamayim and of the earth when they were created, in the day that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) Elohim made the earth and the shamayim,
And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) Elohim had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) Elohim formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living nephesh.
And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) Elohim planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
And out of the ground made 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) Elohim to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.
The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.
And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.
And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.
And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) Elohim took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) Elohim commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) Elohim said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
And out of the ground 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) Elohim formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) Elohim caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
And the rib, which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) Elohim had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

Bereshit3

Genesis · Chapter 3

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) Elohim had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath Elohim said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, Elohim hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
For Elohim doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be made to perceive, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
And when the woman perceived that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
And the eyes of them both were made to perceive and they were changed, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
And they heard the sound of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) Elohim walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) Elohim amongst the trees of the garden.
And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) Elohim called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where are you coming from?
And he said, I heard the sound of you approaching in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was exposed, uncovered, bare; and I hid myself.
And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Are you coming from the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
And the man said, The woman that you gave me for my standing, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) Elohim said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent caused me to be deceived, and I did eat.
And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) Elohim said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
And I will put a hostile ill-will between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
And Adam called his wife’s name Chavvah; because she was the mother of all living.
Unto Adam also and to his wife did 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) Elohim make tunics of skin, and clothed them.
And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) Elohim said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
Therefore 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) Elohim sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubim, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

Bereshit4

Genesis · Chapter 4

And Adam knew Chavvah his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH).
And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH).
And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) took notice of Abel and to his offering:
But unto Cain and to his offering he completely ignored. And Cain was HOT, and his face sunken.
And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) said unto Cain, Why are you so heated? and why is your face so sullen and sunk in?
Is not it true that if you improve you will be promoted and if you do not do good, sin is laying and waiting at your door, it wants you, and you will rule over it.
As Cain was talking with Abel his brother: they had gone into the field as they talked and Cain overcame Abel his brother, and he killed him.
And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I don't know!: Am I my brother's guardian - his bodyguard?
And he said, What did you do? the voice of thy brother’s blood is crying out to me from the ground..
But now you are cursed from the ground which has opened her mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand.
When you cultivate the ground, it will not yield her strength to you any more; a fugitive and a vagabond you will be in the earth.
And Cain said unto 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH), My sin that I carry is great.
Look, today you have driven me out from the face of the earth, and from your face I will be hidden; I will be a fugitive, and an outcast in the earth; and it will be that every one who finds me will kill me.
And YHWH said to him, Therefore, to the killing of Cain shall vengeance be taken sevenfold. Vengeance will be taken on whosoever kills Cain, sevenfold. And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) set a mark upon Cain, so that anyone finding Cain would not kill him.
And Cain went out from the presence of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH), and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.
And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he built a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.
And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael: and Mehujael begat Methusael: and Methusael begat Lamech.
And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.
And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle.
And his brother’s name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ.
And Zillah, she also bare Tubal-cain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubal-cain was Naamah.
And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt.
If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold.
And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For Elohim, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.
And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then he began to call upon the name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH).
