Tehillim115

Psalms · Chapter 115

Not unto us, O 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH), not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake.
Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their Elohim?
But our Elohim is in the shamayim: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.
Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.
They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:
They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:
They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.
They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.
O Yisra'el, trust thou in 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH): he is their help and their shield.
O house of Aharon, trust in 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH): he is their help and their shield.
Ye that fear 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH), trust in 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH): he is their help and their shield.
𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Yisra'el; he will bless the house of Aharon.
He will bless them that fear 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH), both small and great.
𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) shall increase you more and more, you and your children.
Ye are blessed of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) which made shamayim and earth.
The shamayim, even the shamayim, are 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH)’S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.
The dead praise not 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH), neither any that go down into silence.
But we will bless 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) from this time forth and for evermore. Praise 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH).

Tehillim116

Psalms · Chapter 116

I love 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH), because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.
Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.
Then called I upon the name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH); O 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH), I beseech thee, deliver my nephesh.
Gracious is 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH), and righteous; yea, our Elohim is merciful.
𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.
Return unto thy rest, O my nephesh; for 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) hath dealt bountifully with thee.
For thou hast delivered my nephesh from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
I will walk before 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) in the land of the living.
I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:
I said in my haste, All men are liars.
What shall I render unto 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) for all his benefits toward me?
I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH).
I will pay my vows unto 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) now in the presence of all his people.
Precious in the sight of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) is the death of his saints.
O 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH), truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.
I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH).
I will pay my vows unto 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH) now in the presence of all his people,
In the courts of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH)’S house, in the midst of thee, O Yerushalayim. Praise ye 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YHWH).
